Mission Statement

The ASL Studio's mission is to enhance and enrich the lives of children and adults of all ages and abilities by learning American Sign Language. We strive to encourage and facilitate cross-cultural understanding while improving the lives of everyone.

Biography of Instructor

Holly was born and raised in a small city in Ontario, Canada. She and her husband attended RIT University in Rochester, NY, a city well known for its Deaf population. They are the proud parents of a beautiful, and articulate 7 year old daughter. After extensive research, and signing with their daughter as an infant, Holly quickly discovered the benefits to teaching American Sign Language to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Credentials of Instructor

• Degrees in American Sign Language English Interpretation for the Deaf & Counseling
• EIPA (Educational Interpreting Performance Assessment) score of 4.0 qualifying her to interpret in all schools K-12 across the United States, and granting her the valid credentials to be a certified member of RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf)

• Imagine having the ability to communicate with a child, or client who cannot speak due to a disability such as Autism, Down syndrome, or Deafness.
